Role: Fidessa Consultant Location: Jersey City, NJ (Onsite) Job Type: W2 Contract Experience: 8+ Years Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Fidessa Consultant with a strong background in application and production support within trading environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting front or middle office trading platforms, strong technical skills, and deep knowledge of cash equities and electronic trading workflows. Responsibilities: Provide application and production support for trading systems in front or middle office environments Support and troubleshoot Fidessa / OMS / EMS platforms Handle incidents, root cause analysis, and production issue resolution Support FIX protocol connectivity, order routing, and execution workflows Analyze trade data and investigate trade lifecycle issues Work closely with traders, operations, and technology teams Ensure platform stability, scalability, and compliance Support system changes, releases, and production deployments Document operational procedures and issue resolutions Required Skills & Experience: 8+ years of experience in trading application / production support Strong experience with Fidessa or similar OMS/EMS platforms Hands-on experience with FIX Protocol Strong knowledge of Order Management Systems (OMS) Experience working in Unix/Linux environments Strong SQL skills for data analysis and troubleshooting Solid experience with Cash Equities trading Domain Knowledge: Electronic trading workflows (high-touch, low-touch, algorithmic trading) Front-to-back trade lifecycle (order creation, execution, allocation, booking, reporting) Market structure, order types, routing strategies, and execution controls Trading system integrations and messaging protocols Regulatory, risk, and control considerations in electronic trading Professional Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to senior stakeholders Strong documentation and communication skills Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure trading environments How to Apply: Interested candidates can share their updated resumes at V2 Innovations Inc is an Equal Opportunity Employer and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds.
