We invite Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Advanced Practice Providers to explore the impact we can make together when healing hearts, inquisitive minds, and progressive vision come together within Carolinas Rehabilitation and Levine Children's Hospital. The Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation team delivers comprehensive inpatient and ambulatory rehabilitation care for patients recovering from complex medical, neurological, and functional conditions across adult and pediatric populations. Our multidisciplinary care model emphasizes evidence-based practice, continuity of care, and close collaboration between APPs, physicians, therapy teams, nursing, and care coordination partners. About the Opportunity • Full-time, Monday-Friday, day schedule • Hybrid inpatient and ambulatory role supporting a diverse PM&R patient population • Practice located in center city Charlotte • APPs partner closely with physicians in daily rounding, functional assessments, care planning, and care coordination • Join a collegial, well-supported practice • Strong interdisciplinary care model with therapy, nursing, case management, and specialty providers Ideal Candidate • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program • PM&R experience preferred; backgrounds in rehabilitation, hospital medicine, neurology, internal medicine, or acute care are highly valued • Active prescriptive authority and DEA license • Ability to practice both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered rehabilitation care across the lifespan Why Atrium Health The Charlotte region serves as a major hub in the Southeast, offering a dynamic urban core with access to diverse communities, culture, and quality of life.
