Not required for MACS students under the age of 18 Positions & Rates for the 2025-2026 School Year: Hourly Fitness Worker $16.00 per hour Learn-to-Swim Instructor $16.00 per hour Lifeguard $16.50 per hour MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Hourly Fitness Worker Must be 16 years of age or older, requires CPR/AED/First Aid Certification; On-site duties associated with assisting members and supervising the use of the Strength & Conditioning Center, and Indoor Track; Responsible for cleaning machines and ensuring proper working order; Assist with new member paperwork; Issue new membership cards; Other duties as assigned by the Fitness Coordinator and/or Athletic Director. Learn-to-swim Instructor Instructs beginning swimmers Keeps the pool free of debris Keeps order among swimmers Enforces pool rules Prepares and maintains routine records/reports Applicants must hold current Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Applicants must be certified in CPR/AED and First Aid.
