Job Summary: Sign-on Bonus: $5,000 Shift Available: 2nd Compensation: Up to $41.00/Hourly $3/Hourly Weekly Attendance Bonus PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Manufacturing Process Reliability: Maintain manufacturing processes in accordance with industry standards and specifications. Safety, Health, and Environment: Operate standard maintenance tools effectively and safely, including power tools, hand tools, and electrical testing equipment. Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including Annual PMs. Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics proficiently. Demonstrate a strong personal safety philosophy and adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Proactively identify and correct unsafe conditions. Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues independently. Follow all safety rules, regulations, and departmental policies; contribute to the development of improved safety techniques. Identify root causes of equipment problems by observing operation, listening for irregularities, and using precision measuring and testing instruments. Understand and maintain certification in Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Maintenance Operations: Identify and document required follow-up work. Gather necessary materials, tools, documentation, and work order information. Investigate job sites to determine scope for reactive work. Prepare work areas, including setting up scaffolding and ensuring safety compliance. Respond to unscheduled or emergency work as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor. Transition to the next job upon completion or as instructed. Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to resolve issues during work execution. Work Order Management: Complete closeout activities: tool and parts reconciliation, sanitation tagging, functional testing, and predictive maintenance validation. Submit completed hardcopy work orders with details including: Work description Symptoms "As Found " and "As Left " conditions Start/finish time Labor hours Noted deficiencies, delays, and job plan feedback Communication: Provide clear, written communication in daily pass-downs regarding issues and actions. Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Help develop and implement preventive maintenance procedures for electronically controlled equipment, plant instrumentation, and data collection systems. Maintain and troubleshoot electronic equipment, control systems, and instrumentation. Demonstrate strong troubleshooting and repair skills with analog and digital control devices and sensors. Operate and use diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes and volt-ohm meters (VOM). Troubleshoot communication between PLCs/PCs and ASCII devices such as barcode readers, scales, label printers, digital displays, terminals, RFID, and wireless networks. pply a methodical approach to solving technical problems. Program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley systems (preferred). Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Electrical/Maintenance Journeyman License ( State of Michigan). Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience. Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude. bility to read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, single-line diagrams, and wiring schematics. Proficiency in troubleshooting PLCs and Ladder Logic. Certification in LOTO procedures. Willingness to join the Hazmat team. vailability to work weekends and off-shift hours as required. Preferred Qualifications: Programming and troubleshooting experience with Allen-Bradley systems. Maintenance experience in a food processing environment. Proficiency in using calibration/test equipment (e.g., RTD calibrators, digital multimeters, 4-20 mA units). bility to troubleshoot: 480 VAC 3-phase motor controls. 120 VAC and 24 VDC control circuits. Computer literacy and eagerness to learn SAP/PPE systems. Skills and Certifications: Journeyman License in the State of Michigan Programming and troubleshooting skills, preferably with Allen-Bradley Safety, Health, and Environment compliance Strong electrical & mechanical aptitude Certified in LOTO PLC and Ladder Logic troubleshooting Self-starter with strong prioritization skills 3 years manufacturing maintenance experience Troubleshooting 480 VAC 3-phase and 120/24 VDC control circuits Food processing maintenance experience Use of calibration and diagnostic tools SAP/PPE system familiarity
