We pride ourselves on safety, precision, and craftsmanship-and we're looking for skilled professionals who share our commitment to excellence.Position Summary:As a Structural Steel Ironworker at EZARC, Inc., you will be responsible for assembling and erecting steel structures, including beams, columns, joists, decking, and assembly and installation of Unistrut support systems. You will work at heights, read blueprints and erection drawings, and collaborate with site supervisors and crane operators to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient installation of structural steel components.Key Responsibilities: Erect structural steel framework using cranes, rigging, and hand toolsAssembly and installation of Unistrut support systemsAlign, bolt, and weld steel components per project specifications and drawingsInstall steel decking, joists, bridging, and other support elementsUse fall protection systems, harnesses, and other PPE correctly at all timesInterpret erection drawings and layout instructionsSignal crane operators and guide loads into place safely and accuratelyPerform rigging and hoisting operationsInspect tools, equipment, and materials daily for safe operationCollaborate with foremen, welders, and project teams to meet schedule and quality standardsFollow EZARC safety protocols, OSHA standards, and site-specific requirements Required Qualifications: 2+ years of structural steel erection experience preferred (will consider apprenticeship-level or less-experienced workers with strong fundamentals)Strong understanding of rigging, bolting, and erection techniquesAbility to work at heights and in varying outdoor conditionsAbility to read and interpret erection and shop drawingsComfortable working as part of a team in fast-paced construction environmentsMust be physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs., climbing ladders, and standing for extended periodsMust have reliable transportation and be able to travel to job sites in the Phoenix areaMust pass pre-employment drug screen and background checkOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred Work Environment: Outdoor construction sites in various stages of developmentWork at heights with scaffolds, lifts, and steel structuresUse of power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machineryFull PPE required at all times Compensation & Benefits: Competitive hourly wage based on experience and certificationsOvertime opportunitiesHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysTraining and advancement opportunitiesIronworker Apprenticeship Program Available
