Geotechnical Engineer

An industry-leading construction and forensic consulting firm is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to help us ensure client satisfaction through meticulous fieldwork and engineering analysis in California. Your Day Includes Observing and documenting field activities related to construction processes Sampling, testing, and inspecting various materials including soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt Performing calculations, data reduction, and drafting reports based on test results Interacting daily with contractors, technicians, and project managers to facilitate project progress Testifying as an expert witness in dispute resolution proceedings, as necessary Must Haves Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred Experience in construction defect analysis, particularly in compaction, stormwater systems, and foundation testing P.S.
