Description of role:We are looking for safe and courteous Class A truck drivers with a minimum of 2 years of tanker experience. We do not compromise where safety is involved.Tasks: Complete a daily truck log via the electronic logging deviceObserve and report equipment or mechanical failures immediatelyManage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possibleFind ways to conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the businessServe as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the publicMaintain a professional appearance and conduct yourself accordinglyConduct daily inspections (DVIRs) of the vehicle at the end of the shift and report any problems or damage to management via the electronic logging deviceComply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rulesPick up petroleum product from the loading rack and deliver to customer location in an efficient and safe manner Skills and requirements: High school diploma/GED requiredClass A drivers license in good standing2 years verifiable petroleum experienceHazmat and Tanker EndorsementMust have a clean DMV recordMust be drug free; random drug testing required per DOT regulationMust pass initial drug test/physical/background check at time of hire Work schedule:Full time, Sunday-Saturday, 24 hours a day. Shifts rotate on a 5-3, 5-2. Evenings and weekends are required. We never close.
