You must be computer savvy for this position. We are EMR– based, using EMA; Experience with EMA is very beneficial, but not required. Looking for candidates who want a long-term, stable position with opportunity for advancement.Basic Job ResponsibilitiesDaily claim billing and auditing for accuracyPosting insurance payments including electronic and paperResolve claim edits/exclusionsUnderstanding billing guidelines and payor requirements.Perform prior authorization functions as neededFollow-up on unpaid claims to ensure prompt payment based on agingInsurance appeal experience.Experience in balancing/closingStatementsCollectionsRefundsFollow-up on patient and insurance accounts receivablesAnswer patient questions regarding balances/insurance issuesMeet departmental productivity and quality standards.Other duties requested by ManagementQualifications And RequirementsA minimum of 1 years’ experience in medical billingPreferred candidates will have Interventional Pain billing and coding experienceCompetencies· Team oriented/collaborative· Must have strong follow through· Exceptional maturity and professionalism· Commitment to excellence and high standards.· Ability to manage priorities and workflow.· Excellent attention to detail· Good communication skills
