In this role, you will conduct psychological evaluations that include objective testing to determine the patients’ current level of psychological functioning, address the impact of the injury to the current condition, determine appropriateness for medical procedures, evaluate barriers to success and provide recommendations for psychological care. Mental Health providers working with injured employees should have training and experience in health psychology and must feel comfortable with a team approach to patient care. The selected provider will need to provide all manners of mental health services including but not limited to; individual therapy, clinical case management and crisis intervention to adults with severe and persistent mental illness. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment.ResponsibilitiesIdentify psychological, emotional, and behavioral concerns and provide diagnosesCreate individualized treatment plans for each clientImplement evidence-based therapeutic treatment approachesRefer clients to other providers when appropriateMaintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment planPerform regular wellness checks and follow-up appointmentsMust possess strong writing and reporting skills, be familiar with Short Term Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and certification for EMDR therapy is a plus but not required.QualificationsDoctorate of Psychology (Ph.D., PsyD)BBS or Board of Psychology registration required.2 years’ experience required in Public/Community Mental HealthExperienced Qualified Medical Evaluator preferredInterest in Forensic PsychologyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsFlexible work from home options available.
