Surgical capability is preferred, Dr. Hamilton can work with you to be one of the best surgeons in the area! We have clients that say "yes" to what the doctor wants to do 90% of the time. This makes your job EASIER!!!!! 36 to 40 hour week, you can make over $200,000.00 easily. The support staff is fantastic. You tell me what hours you want to work, and I can work around your schedule!! Dr. Hamilton is looking for someone to carry on her legacy through future ownership of the practice, and that could be you!!ResponsibilitiesProvide routine examinationsDiagnose illnesses and recommend treatmentAdminister vaccinationsPrescribe medicationAdvise pet owners on preventative healthcare, nutrition, and overall pet well-beingUpdate client recordsPreferred: Ability to perform surgeries including dental, spay and neuterQualificationsDoctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degreePrevious work experience as a veterinarianKnowledge of medical equipment and anesthesia proceduresExcellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical concepts in simple termsProblem-solving skillsAvailability to take evening, or weekend shifts when necessaryPatience and a love for animalsEquipmentDigital radiography, including dental radiographs.PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) and Stem CellsDigithermLameness scale to weigh each limb separatelyUltrasoundCutting laser and Cold Laser (2 in practice)Rigid endoscopyFull in-house laboratory
