This field-based role is ideal for candidates with mechanical and electrical repair experience—particularly with small engines, standby generators, or automatic transfer switches (ATS).Key Responsibilities:Travel to residential job sites using a company-provided service vehiclePerform diagnostics, routine maintenance, and repairs on whole-home standby generatorsTroubleshoot and service mechanical and electrical components, including ATS systemsRead and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manualsClearly communicate with customers regarding services performed and any recommendationsAccurately document all work in our service management softwareFollow safety protocols and industry best practices when working around electricitySupport emergency service calls during weather-related outages or storms, as neededQualifications:1+ years of experience in generator service, small engine repair, or related mechanical/electrical workStrong customer service and verbal communication skillsAbility to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manualsComfortable working independently in the field with minimal supervisionHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordPhysically able to perform job duties, including climbing ladders, lifting equipment, and working in outdoor environmentsFamiliarity with residential generator systems and ATS technology is a plusPosition Details:Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (occasional flexibility required for emergencies)Job Type: Full-timeCompensation: Based on experience and skill levelTravel: Local/regional service calls using a company-provided vehicleWhy Join Generator Supercenter?Industry-leading training and supportCompetitive pay and advancement opportunitiesCompany-provided vehicle, tools, and equipmentBe part of a growing team making a real impact in energy reliability and securityApply today to start a rewarding career in generator repair and renewable energy service!This franchise is independently owned and operated by a franchisee.
