Electrical Project Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Project Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting the technical, logistical, and administrative aspects of electrical construction projects. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with project managers, field teams, and vendors to ensure efficient coordination, design, installation, and system integration while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in providing field leadership teams with the necessary information to execute projects effectively and efficiently.Key Responsibilities: Assist in the planning and coordination of electrical construction projects from design through completion.Review and interpret electrical blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and other trade documentation.Coordinate and produce installation details, such as shop drawings, to support field installation.Develop and manage procurement schedules for materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to the job site.Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and on-site personnel to ensure seamless project execution.Conduct job site walkthroughs to monitor progress and quality.Identify and resolve technical challenges related to electrical installations.Organize, prepare, and maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), shop drawings, and closeout documents.Ensure that the right people have the right information at the right time to support project success.Ensure all work adheres to local electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications. Qualifications & Skills:Required: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Electrical Engineering.2+ years of experience in electrical construction project engineering.Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and industry standards.Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
