As a volunteer Salesforce Platform Developer, you will support our nonprofit/organization in building, customizing, and enhancing Salesforce applications. You will work closely with the internal team to streamline processes, automate workflows, and deliver impactful digital solutions that empower Keelwork’s mission. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience, contribute to meaningful causes, and expand your Salesforce portfolio. Key Responsibilities Work collaboratively with admin, business analysts, and other developers to deliver project goals. Configure Salesforce objects, fields, validation rules, and workflows. Participate in the integration of third-party systems using connected apps and APIs. Document code, processes, and changes for transparency and future reference. Design and develop custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC). Implement and maintain triggers, batch classes, and scheduled jobs to automate business processes. Support user stories, data modeling, and testing for new or existing applications Qualifications Required: Two years of Salesforce programming or Salesforce administrator experience required. Preferred: Salesforce Platform Developer I certification Salesforce admin certificate a plus Hands-on experience with Apex, SOQL, LWC, Visualforce, and Process Builder/Flow. Good understanding of Salesforce security model, governor limits, and deployment tools. Previous experience with Salesforce NPSP (Nonprofit Success Pack) or Service Cloud is a plus.
