Assured Nursing is seeking a travel Certified Surgical Technologist for a travel job in Northampton, Massachusetts. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Certified Surgical Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 04/05/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Day, 2(12)-hour shifts. Must be available for call as needed. Under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager and/or the Administrative Director of the Childbirth Center and within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures, responsible for performing a variety of duties related to scrubbing for Cesarean-Sections, planning, preparing and maintaining surgical instrumentation and surgical field peri-operatively and intra-operatively. Post-operatively responsible for room and instrument decontamination; stocking the OR, LDRs, Nursery, and Postpartum Rooms, as well as, routinely removing all outdated supplies and forms. Responsible for performing a variety of direct and non-direct patient care duties, including clerical, supply and messenger responsibilities. Will also work as unit secretary when needed in the department Work with all professional disciplines as a Childbirth team member to ensure effective and efficient patient-family care, the achievement of desired patient outcomes, as well as patient-family safety and satisfaction.
