Payroll and Benefits Specialist

This position is responsible for supporting the operations of multi state biweekly payroll department. The expectations will be to consistently strive to maintain system accuracy and accountability.Responsibilities: Responsible for the preparation and processing of multi-site, multi-state payrollReview and ensure accuracy of approved timesheetsMaintains database, including additions, terminations and changesMaintains all garnishments and other special payroll deductionsVerify and reconcile employee benefits Process payroll accruals and Journal Entries Conducting monthly, quarterly and yearly taxes and general ledger reconciliationFunction as a team member within the department and cross-functions, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company Job requirements: 3 years of proven experience performing all payroll functionsAble to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretionStrong organizational skills and able to work under pressure and meet deadlinesExcellent Microsoft platform skillsExtremely detail oriented Dominion Payroll iSolve software experience not required but a plus Benefits:Excellent benefits which currently include medical health coverage, dental, life insurance, paid vacation, paid holidays and 401-K with company match.We value customer-oriented, team-driven and motivated employees that contribute to the overall growth of our business.
