East Coast Metrology (ECM) is looking for a driven, hands-on Entry-Level Calibration & Field Service Technician to join our growing Hampton Roads team. At ECM, you'll work alongside experienced engineers and technicians while gaining exposure to laser trackers, 3D laser scanners, portable CMM arms, and other high-tech metrology tools used across aerospace, defense, manufacturing, energy, and more. Requirements What You'll Do Assist with calibration and verification of laser trackers, laser scanners, and portable CMM arms Support on-site field service projects at customer facilities Set up, operate, and troubleshoot portable metrology equipment Document measurement and calibration results with accuracy and clarity Maintain equipment, manage tools, and prepare systems for field deployment Travel to customer locations for service assignments What We're Looking For Technical background or training in manufacturing, engineering technology, quality, or related field (Degree or equivalent hands-on experience welcome!) Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Solid communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to travel for field service projects Experience with metrology equipment is a plus, but full training is provided Why Join ECM?
