About the Job MedStar Health is looking for a full-time night shift Home Clinical Aide to join our team at MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center! CNA experience required. POSITION SUMMARY A Clinical Aide assists nurses, technologists, radiologists, and clerical staff in providing service and assistance to patients undergoing procedures in the Radiology Department. Incumbents in this position may perform all, or a combination of the duties described, depending upon their assigned work area and the specific needs of the department. Primary Duties: Prepares patients for procedures by verifying orders, positioning patients, assisting with transport, and ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process. Sets up procedure rooms by maintaining sterile fields, preparing trays and supplies, loading contrast per manufacturer guidelines, and ensuring equipment readiness. Maintains department operations by monitoring environmental cleanliness, stocking supplies, managing inventory, and coordinating with Sterile Processing. Supports departmental workflow by transporting specimens, retrieving medications and blood products, and serving as liaison between Radiology and support services. Provides administrative and team support by assisting at reception, communicating patient delays, maintaining records, and participating in onboarding and training of new staff. Qualifications: High School Diploma (Required) Additional Training and Experience as a CNA (Required) Less than 1 yr 0 to 6 months Experience (Required) This position has a hiring range of USD $18.00 - USD $29.74 /Hr.
