Records and Information Manager (TS Clearance Required) Zimmerman Associates, Inc. (ZAI) is pursuing an exciting new federal contract opportunity and is building a team of exceptional professionals. We're looking for a Records and Information Manager with an active Top-Secret Clearancewho has deep expertise, strong leadership, and a passion for high-quality information governance. In this role, you'll guide an enterprise-wide records inventory and file plan project, mentor RIM staff, and ensure all practices meet federal standards for accuracy, compliance and security. Location: Onsite in Washington, D.C. Employment Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week) Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee all Records and Information Management components of the contract. Direct and mentor Contractor staff supporting an enterprise-wide inventory and file plan initiative. Apply expert knowledge of RIM best practices across the full lifecycle of analog and electronic records. Maintain proper controls for records storage, retrieval, and access. Apply federal records schedules for appraisal, classification, and disposition. Identify records, non-records, and personal papers in accordance with federal standards. Organize and describe information collections using appropriate metadata. Protect classified and sensitive information from unauthorized access. Provide training and developmental resources to users on RIM policies and procedures. Ensure all recordkeeping practices comply with applicable laws, regulations, and standards. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience managing professional RIM programs or projects, preferably involving federal government records. Master's degree in an information discipline (e.g., Library Science, Information Management, Archival Studies). Certified Records Manager (CRM) designation preferred. Demonstrated expertise in federal records management principles, lifecycle management, and metadata standards. Work Location & Schedule Primary duty location is onsite in Washington, D.C. Work schedule must align with core hours and fall within 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM ET, Monday-Friday. Security Requirements Must successfully complete a Tier 5 (T5) investigation and hold an active Top Secret (TS) clearance prior to onboarding. Must comply with all requirements in customer's "Security Requirements for Contracts that Require Access to Classified Information."
