Under the general direction of the Information Technology Manager I in the Office of Information Services (OIS), the Information Technology Supervisor II (IT Sup II) provides technical leadership and direct supervision over Salesforce development and support activities for the DIR Salesforce team. The incumbent leads a team of Salesforce administrators and developers responsible for delivering technology solutions that support Salesforce applications, enforcements, case management, and public-facing services etc. This position requires in-depth knowledge of Salesforce development, system integration, and stakeholder engagement. The IT Sup II ensures that technical solutions align with stakeholders' business needs and DIR's strategic goals, while promoting system reliability, operational efficiency, and service delivery excellence. This position requires the IT Supervisor II to maintain acceptable, consistent and regular attendance at such level as is determined at the department's sole discretion; Must be regularly available and willing to work the hours the department determines necessary or desirable to meet its business needs. The IT Supervisor II effectively communicates appropriately when dealing with the public and/or other employees of the department; develop and maintain knowledge and skills related to specific tasks, methodologies, materials, tools, and equipment; complete assignments in a timely and efficient manner; and adhere to departmental policies and procedures regarding attendance, leave, and conduct. The incumbent must always conduct themselves in a professional manner and should establish good working relationships with others. The incumbent must complete assigned tasks on time. Working Conditions This position is located at:1515 Clay Street, Oakland, CA 94612. The incumbent performs work in an open-spaced, partitioned office environment with an assigned cubicle in a high-rise building in downtown Oakland, CA within walking distance of public transportation. The office is climate-controlled with natural and artificial light. The incumbent will utilize the computer daily. DIR is currently in a hybrid telework schedule and Incumbent will be required to work on site two days a week. The incumbent will be a participant in meetings in both physical and virtual locations.
