Assembly Technician

Job Title: Assembly Technician Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician capable of performing electrical and electronic troubleshooting on boards. The ideal candidate should be proficient in the use of oscilloscopes, voltmeters, analyzers, scopes, and other electrical testing equipment gained through education, internships, or professional experience.Responsibilities Assemble electrical or electronic systems or support structures and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings using rivets, bolts, soldering, or micro-welding equipment. Adjust, repair, or replace electrical or electronic components to correct defects and ensure conformance to specifications. Clean parts using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths. Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions. Position, align, or adjust workpieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly. Confer with supervisors to plan or review work activities or to resolve production problems. Explain assembly procedures or techniques to other workers. Essential Skills Proficiency in assembly line operations, electronics, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. Soldering and hand tool proficiency. Experience in testing circuits. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings. Additional Skills & Qualifications Trade School Certification. Technical degree (AS Degree in Electronics) preferred. 1+ years of experience in component-level troubleshooting and repair of analog and digital circuits. AS Degree in Electrical or Electronic preferred but not required.
