Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Financial Analyst. The right candidate will support strategic decision-making by providing accurate financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting. This role is responsible for tracking divisional performance, analyzing cost and revenue drivers, preparing financial models, and supporting annual planning and forecasting cycles.Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Analyze financial and operational data to support reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processesPrepare monthly and quarterly financial performance reports, highlighting key variances, trends, and risksBuild and maintain financial models to evaluate business scenarios, pricing strategies, and investmentsAssist in the preparation of annual budgets, long-range plans, and periodic reforecastsSupport ad hoc analysis and reporting requestsEnsure data accuracy and integrity across internal systems and reportsCollaborate with accounting and operations teams to reconcile financial data and resolve discrepanciesPresent financial insights to leadership in a clear and actionable formatMaintain compliance with internal financial controls and company policiesPartner with cross-collaborative teams to ensure alignment of financial assumptionsConducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related fieldTwo to Five years of financial analysis, FP&A, or related experience; homebuilding or real estate industry preferred.Strong computer skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new programs/systems quickly is essentialSolid understanding of P&L, cash flow, and financial statement structureExcellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionallyAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applicationsAbility to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
