Job Description JSG is recruiting a Chemist I, who will play a pivotal role in supporting vaccine process development and GMP laboratory operations. Position is in North Wales PA. Pay $35.34/hour Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a closely related field Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical or medical technology industry Proficiency with chromatography techniques such as HPLC, UPLC (IEX, SEC, HIC, RP) Strong experience with analytical testing, data analysis, and electronic data documentation Excellent organizational, computer (Microsoft Word and Excel), and communication skills Ability to troubleshoot laboratory equipment and perform minor repairs Prior experience with cGMP or cGLP practices and electronic lab notebooks is preferred Nice to Have Skills: Experience analyzing therapeutic proteins and using Empower software Knowledge of capillary electrophoresis and two-dimensional separation methods Experience preparing buffers, solutions, and working in sterilized environments Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or related field 2+ years of relevant laboratory experience in a GMP environment, particularly within the pharmaceutical industry Other Requirements: Willingness and ability to work at both the West Point and North Wales, PA sites (miles apart) Ability to work independently and within a team, demonstrating adaptability and a positive attitude Commitment to maintaining a safe, inspection-ready laboratory environment Johnson Service Group, Inc.
