As a CNC Machinist, you'll play a vital role in setting up and operating milling machines, lathes, and surface grinders to produce high-quality parts. You will ensure parts meet strict specifications using precision measuring tools and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to support manufacturing excellence. Collaboration with team members ensures smooth production flow and quality results. What You'll Do: Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and surface grinders to produce precision components. Use calipers, micrometers, and other hand tools to ensure parts meet exact specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing documents to guide machining processes. Monitor machine operation, make adjustments as needed, and maintain accurate setup records. Understand feed rates, cutting speeds, and depth of cuts to optimize machining performance. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols. Assist with routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment. What You'll Bring: At least 2 years of hands-on experience operating CNC machines and manual lathes. Knowledge of CNC programming and machine maintenance is preferred. Ability to operate forklifts and other manufacturing equipment. Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Strong shop math skills and an understanding of metal properties. Reliable, detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving skills.
