Hr generalist

Randstad is looking for a HR Generalist in the Wytheville, VA area. Pay will be $60k to $67k a year. The working hours will be 8AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday and is a direct hire position. This position does require someone to have at least three years of HR Generalist experience and a Bachelors degree. Please call my office if you're interested in applying for this position. 423-638-9946 salary: $60,000 - $67,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: Bachelors Responsibilities Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. Recruits, interviews, tests, and makes recommendations for selection of employees to fill vacant positions. Represents company during recruiting events, career fairs and community support functions. Complies with all Federal and State right to work requirements, identification certification and maintenance of the I-9 files. Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals. Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting. Trains management in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review and safety. Conducts training relevant to compliance, legal requirements, and company policies. Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues. Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs. Administers benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance, and educates employees on benefit options and elections.
