We are the premier fire and water cleanup and restoration company in Northeast Ohio. We have expanded our operations to include 13 franchises in the Cleveland, Akron, Mansfield and Toledo areas. Due to our recent growth, we are seeking customer focused, motivated, and responsible Mitigation Technicians. The Mitigation Technician performs production processes to fulfill the service needs of restoration projects for our various customers from fire and water damage. Technicians provide our customers with quality, consistent, and efficient work, representing the best in the cleanup and restoration industry.Job Description:Respond to service calls as needed from both residential and commercial customers. Perform services as assigned, following SERVPRO production guidelines. Communicate with the crew chief to make sure all customer needs are met. Support crew chief and other production personnel, as needed. Clean and maintain vehicles, equipment, and warehouse. Competes documentation as needed.Responsibilities:Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each projectMaintain a clean and organized vehicle and equipmentPrepare rooms/areas for work activitiesSet up staging area and equipment for each projectLeave job site with a clean and orderly appearancePerform production processes following SERVPRO® production guidelines per work order per crew chief directionsEnsure clear two-way communication with crew chief and other technicians (especially regarding customer needs and concerns)Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown to leave job site with a clean and orderly appearanceUnderstand and follow safety and risk management guidelines on the job site, in the office, and while travelingQualifications:High school diploma/GEDDedicated to world class customer serviceEffective oral communicationAbility to work on a rotating on-call schedule for after hours and weekendsExperience in cleaning/restoration preferredIICRC certifications preferredMust have clean driving recordPhysical and Work Environment Requirements:Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistanceAbility to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) where applicableWalking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbingAbility to climb ladders and work at ceiling heightsRepetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objectsBenefits:Competitive wagesMedical/Dental/Vision InsurancePaid Holidays + VacationsLife Insurance401(k) with Company matchJoin the team that makes it “Like it never even happened®.”Servpro is an Equal Opportunity EmployerAll employees of a SERVPRO® Franchise are hired by, employed by, and under the sole supervision and control of an independently owned and operated SERVPRO® Franchise.
