Why This Role Is Different This is not a narrow design role. You’ll lead the mechanical and systems backbone of critical infrastructure: Pumping systems Rotating equipment Treatment process equipment Pipeline systems Controls integration Hydraulic performance modeling Constructability and lifecycle optimization You won’t just draft. You’ll design, coordinate, troubleshoot, and see your systems built. Requirements Key Responsibilities Support projects through planning, design, permitting, and construction support Prepare and review engineering designs, specifications, and cost estimates Develop and review AutoCAD drawings for water and wastewater infrastructure Perform hydraulic modeling for water and wastewater systems Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project schedules and budgets Perform QA/QC to ensure regulatory compliance and technical accuracy Support client coordination, meetings, and technical discussions Assist with construction administration and field support Required BS in Mechanical, Industrial, Civil, Environmental, or related engineering 8+ years of engineering experience Experience leading design through construction phases Proficiency in AutoCAD Experience with hydraulic modeling or fluid system analysis Strong technical execution and decision-making ability Especially Valuable for Mechanical & Industrial Engineers Pump and rotating equipment selection Process optimization and performance improvement Energy efficiency analysis Treatment facility or industrial plant design Reliability engineering or asset management Field troubleshooting and commissioning experience The Engineer Who Thrives Here You: Think in systems, not silos Care about constructability and real-world performance Like solving hydraulic and mechanical puzzles Prefer lean teams with real ownership Want your designs to operate reliably for decades Why ADC High-impact infrastructure projects serving real communities Performance-based incentives Lean, accountable engineering culture Direct client exposure and technical leadership opportunities The ability to shape projects, not just execute assigned tasks This is infrastructure engineering with mechanical depth and operational impact.
