Schedule Night shift, 3x12.0 hours. Job Description The Respiratory Therapist provides quality patient care, delivering intensive respiratory care and patient transport as medically prescribed, within the scope of professional license and with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include evaluating patients and recommending treatment plans, explaining procedures to patients, and providing necessary education upon discharge. ResponsibilitiesConduct physician-prescribed routine treatments using ventilatory equipment, oxygen, aerosol devices, and nebulizers. Perform chest physiotherapy and suctioning using various methods. Monitor patients through oximetry and capnography as per policy. Review chest x-rays to evaluate the need for further assessment. Conduct pulmonary function studies and assist with respiratory care procedures. Administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation according to BLS and ACLS guidelines. Maintain and monitor mechanical ventilation on various equipment. Record treatment information and communicate with healthcare providers about therapy effectiveness. Ensure accurate respiratory therapy charging, including data entry and error correction. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Must possess appropriate licensure and certifications to perform respiratory therapy services as per state regulations. Why ARMStaffing?
