DescriptionThe Designer will support the engineering team by creating 2D and 3D models and production drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. This role will focus on designing and updating components used in air purifiers and environmental control systems, including: Sheet metal parts Plastic components Brackets, frames, and internal mechanical assemblies Airflow-related components (duct interfaces, panels, housings) Smaller mechanical subcomponents used in refrigeration and moisture-control products Work includes creating new component models, updating existing drawings for production, supporting manufacturing documentation, and handling revise updates based on engineering direction.SkillsDesign, Solidworks, Mechanical, Mechanical design, Autocad, New product development, Drafting, Gd&t, 3d modeling, CadTop Skills DetailsDesign,Solidworks,Mechanical,Mechanical design,Autocad,New product development,Drafting,Gd&t,3d modeling,CadAdditional Skills & Qualifications 2-year technical degree in Mechanical Design, Drafting, or related field (or equivalent CAD experience ) 0-2 years of experience in a CAD/design role SolidWorks and AutoCAD proficiency Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to operate independently and ask clarifying questions Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, WI.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
