Job Title: Lay-up Assembler Job DescriptionJoin our team as a Lay-up Assembler, working in a dynamic and clean lay-up department. You will engage in releasing films and bagging films, contributing to our first-shift operations.Responsibilities Perform tasks in the lay-up department, including releasing films and bagging films. Work collaboratively with a team of five in a climate-controlled, clean environment. Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate assembly processes. Utilize skills in plaster, oven cure, and autoclave operations as required. Essential Skills 5 years of experience in lay-up processes. Proficiency in blueprint reading. Knowledge of composite lay-up and assembly techniques. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with autoclave and bagging parts is advantageous. Employees are required to work in a team of five and can expect to work approximately 45-50 hours a week, including overtime. The dress code includes steel toe shoes, jeans, and an appropriate shirt.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of WICHITA, KS.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
