Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring for a notable global beauty and personal care organization known for its innovation in research, product development, and quality excellence within the cosmetics industry.Position Title: Analytical Chemist - Raw Materials (R&I)Assignment Type: TemporaryTeam: Analytical Raw Materials QCInterview Process: Microsoft Teams (alternative arrangements available as needed)Pay : Up to 29.50/hrPosition OverviewThis temporary role supports the Analytical Department within Research & Innovation, focusing on raw materials quality control and evaluation. The selected candidate will perform routine and non-routine analytical testing of raw materials using chromatographic, spectroscopic, and wet chemistry techniques to ensure compliance with established specifications and quality standards.The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on LC and GC experience, post-graduate industry exposure, and the ability to communicate findings clearly within a fast-paced laboratory environment.Key Responsibilities Perform analytical testing of raw materials using chromatographic, spectroscopic, and wet chemistry techniques. Techniques include: HPLC, GC, FTIR, Karl Fischer, potentiometric titration, TLC, pH, viscosity, specific gravity, and related physical testing methods. Execute established test methods and SOPs to generate accurate, reproducible results. Collect, process, and interpret analytical data; derive scientifically sound conclusions. Prepare clear, concise reports for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Support root cause investigations related to laboratory non-conformance events. Communicate testing status and project updates to management and cross-functional teams. Maintain strict adherence to laboratory safety, quality, and compliance standards. Adapt to changing priorities and ensure timely delivery of results aligned with project milestones. Maintain clean, organized laboratory workspaces. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related scientific discipline. 1-3 years of post-graduate industry experience in an analytical laboratory. Strong hands-on experience with HPLC and GC (required). Working knowledge of wet chemistry techniques including pH, TLC, auto-titration, Karl Fischer, FTIR, and viscosity. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced team environment. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Strong bench skills and laboratory organization practices. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
