Job Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Building Maintenance professional to join our Facilities Management team to help maintain a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. Duties/Responsibilities: Performs general plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) repairs to the facility's equipment and systems. Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician, including repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures. Maintaining and repairing facilities by replacing flooring, roofing, doors, and other related structures as needed. Conducts preventive maintenance to ensure that plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems continue operating properly. Obtains services from outside contractors when repairs require specialized training. Performs general cleaning tasks in the facility, including sanitizing the facility. Maintains the inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies. Assembles and transports supplies from the supply room to the work areas. May travel to other CLS clinics as needed. Observe and monitor some construction activity as needed for CLS facilities that are under construction and report to the project manager. Performs other duties as assigned. Previous experience in related fields preferred. Thorough knowledge of general plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repair. Experience in doing drywall repair, painting and installing door hardware. Ability to use hand tools and power tools. Ability to follow instructions. Excellent time management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to send E-mail and report to the upper manager Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, and crawl into awkward spaces. Must be able to hold 50 pounds at a time.
