General Technician - Press Peoplelink Staffing , in partnership with a prominent client in the Chesher VA area, is seeking General Technician in Press area to join their team! General Tech / Press area Job Summary: To Perform processes and support to the Gravure Press Operations in three specific area as required but not limited to Press Room, Roll Stand Tasks and/or Material Handling. Pay: $15 Shifts Available: Rotating Shifts (Must be able to work all 3 Shifts) 1 st - 7:00am - 3:00pm 2 nd - 3:00pm - 11:00pm 3 rd - 11:00pm - 7:00am General Tech / Press area Duties: Receive products from Press, stack and place on pallets Print pallet labels Review for quality and accuracy Make sure jobs are complete and error free Pull product samples to send to Quality Auditors Notify Operator if any problems Webbing the press Assist Operators when press is down Clean up, Mopping floors, etc Fill varnish tanks Other duties as assigned General Tech / Press Area Requirements High School or G.E.D required 2 years previous experience in Manufacturing facility Ability to lift up to 60 lbs Able to stand, stoop, bend, reach, balance, climb, kneeling for long periods of time Must be able to rotate shifts Must be available to work in excess of 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week Must be able to work in repetitive functions as well as other duties as required Why Peoplelink Staffing?
