Registered Dietitian (Part-Time) – Compassionate Nutrition Support in Hospice Care Part-Time | Flexible Schedule | Arizona Dependable Hospice is seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Registered Dietitian to join our interdisciplinary care team in a flexible, part-time role. This position is ideal for a dietitian who values meaningful, patient-centered work and is looking for a schedule that complements other professional or personal commitments. No hospice experience? No problem. We provide training and ongoing support to ensure your success. About the Role As a Hospice Registered Dietitian, you will provide thoughtful, individualized nutritional guidance to patients receiving end-of-life care. Your expertise will help promote comfort, dignity, and quality of life while supporting families in making informed nutrition decisions. You will collaborate closely with nurses, providers, social workers, and other team members to ensure holistic, well-rounded care. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments Develop individualized nutrition care plans aligned with patient goals Educate patients and families on meal planning and dietary considerations Provide practical, compassionate guidance that supports comfort-focused care Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings Document assessments and recommendations in accordance with care standards What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics Registered Dietitian credentials required (ADA certification a plus) Two years of experience in a nutrition or dietary-related field (Equivalent combinations of education and experience considered) Arizona residency required Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Why Join Dependable Hospice?
