Roofing & Construction Bookkeeper/Accountant

Job Description Bookkeeper/Jr. Controller GPAC is currently assisting a growing and stable client with their search for a Bookkeeper/Accountant. This is a Commercial Roofing company that has been in business for over 15 years and has just had their long-time bookkeeper put in her two week notice. This individual will be responsible for accounting operations and more within the company. Bookkeeper/Accountant Responsibilities: Planning, directing, and coordinating accounting operational functions Annual budgeting and forecasting Month end closing responsibilities Preparation of financial statements Work with auditors Work closely with leadership team Ensure compliance Bookkeeper/Accountant Background Requirements: QuickBooks Desktop Experience Job Cost Accounting Experience Paychex or similar paryroll software experience B.S. degree in accounting, finance, or related field, OR Credentials of a CPA (preferred) Minimum of three years of accounting experience Experience working win Construction world is preferred Strong financial management and business acumen Please submit a resume for consideration.
