Support highprecision machining operations and drive improvements in efficiency Develop CNC programs, tooling, and documentation. Job Description Responsibilities: Review product designs for manufacturability, tolerances, quality considerations, and cost drivers. Determine fixture and gauging needs; design or source required tooling. Create manufacturing sketches, setup sheets, and shopfloor documentation. Program CNC machines and optimize feeds/speeds for cycle time, quality, and tool life. Troubleshoot machining issues and resolve process and equipment challenges. Work handson with CNC lathes, mills, machining centers, and related equipment. Collaborate with engineering, quality, supervisors, and machinists to improve productivity. Participate in rootcause investigations and corrective actions for quality issues. Assist with training machine operators on procedures and taskspecific instructions. The Successful Applicant Ideal Candidate: AS or higher in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience supporting CNC machining operations in a manufacturing environment. Strong background in CNC milling and turning; mill/turn experience is a significant plus. Proficiency with CAD/CAM and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T. Solid shop math skills, machining principles, and knowledge of workholding strategies. Familiarity with general machine shop practices, inspection tools, and measurement techniques. Experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred. Comfortable working independently with strong communication and documentation skills.
