Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Patient Service Representative to join a dynamic primary care team in the Midwest region of the United States. This role is essential in delivering exceptional customer service to patients both over the phone and in person, ensuring smooth scheduling and accurate documentation of patient information. Key Responsibilities Warmly greet patients upon arrival and assist with necessary paperwork, including obtaining signatures and insurance details. Maintain accurate and complete patient records using electronic systems, updating demographic information as needed. Schedule appointments efficiently, ensuring all necessary information and documentation are provided to patients. Process referrals and obtain surgical, inpatient, and diagnostic records when required. Handle incoming calls professionally, route messages, and provide excellent customer service to patients and caregivers. Support daily administrative operations including mail handling, supply ordering, and clerical functions. Adhere to privacy regulations and uphold organizational values of integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence. Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED required. One to three years of medical office experience preferred. Experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting is a plus. Skills and Requirements Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Familiarity with office equipment such as multi-line phones, fax, copy machines, and telemedicine tools. Basic knowledge of medical terminology. Effective communication skills to interact with patients and staff. Preferred knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems. Certifications Certification as a Medical Assistant, Nursing Aide, or Medication Aide is preferred but not required.
