TheResidential Maintenance Technicianis responsible for assisting in the overall maintenance of assigned Triple Crown residential properties. We are looking for a technician with our Commerce Park team located in Harrisburg. Responsible for preparing apartments prior to resident occupancy and participates in maintenance projects/work orders as directed. Completion of property work orders, including but not limited to light electrical repairs, plumbing work, drywall repairs, light carpentry work, and painting. Replace broken glass, tile, carpet, screens, disposals, fixtures, appliances. Maintains and assists with pool maintenance as needed. Occasionally shovels snow and chips ice as needed. Assists with stock control to ensure utilization of materials, organization, and tidiness of the maintenance shop. Ensure residents are provided with a clean, safe, and well-maintained community. Assists in assigned rotational on call. RequirementsWhat we are looking for from you.. Minimum of 2 years' residential property maintenance and/or handywork experience required Experience in maintenance for a property management company is preferred but not required Must possess all basic hand tools to perform service duties Basic computer proficiency, including smartphones, tablets, and/or iPads Must have a valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance Must be a strong team player and have the ability to work independently or with others on assigned tasks Safety Oriented - OSHA Certification is highly preferred but not required HVAC/EPA Certification is highly preferred but not required Must possess excellent attention to detail as well as organizational and time management skills
