AI Engineer/ Developer

Role:: AI Engineer/ Developer Location: Okemos, MI (onsite/ Hybrid) Duration: 12 months+ Rate: Market Key Responsibilities: • Design and build AI-powered proof-of-concepts and experimental tools using Python • Rapidly prototype applications that demonstrate new capabilities in LLMs or generative AI • Integrate APIs and handle structured/unstructured data for downstream processing or inference • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to iterate on design, functionality, and performance • Use Git and collaborative development tools to manage and share code • Document findings, experiments, and implementation approaches for internal sharing Required Skills: • Proficiency in Python (intermediate to advanced) • Ability to independently develop working proof-of-concepts • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Experience working with APIs, JSON, and various data formats • Familiarity with Git-based workflows and collaborative coding practices
