Body Systems Test Engineer

Job Description VENTEON and Harvard Resource Solutions are hiring a Body Systems Test Engineer to provide support in Metro Detroit. Use your talents as a Test Engineer to perform precise simulations, tests, and efficient vehicle validations. Take part in ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with legal requirements. POSITION TYPE: Full-time, long-term contract (Minimum 8 months) with potential for direct hire based on business needs and job performance. $40.00 - $55.00 per hour based on education and years of relevant experience. Requirements of the Body Systems Test Engineer: Engineering degree is required. Minimum 3 years of experience in Test Engineering. Automotive OEM Experience. Solid knowledge in Automotive closures and Interior test requirements and standards. Ability to analyze technical data, root cause issues, and write clear reports. Duties of the Body Systems Test Engineer: Perform validation and verification tests on body system components and subsystems. Define test methods, acceptance criteria, and test environments. Ensure quality tests and proper data collection. Document test results in detailed engineering reports. Document findings and provide root cause analysis. Work with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve test failures. Present test results and participate in design reviews. Provide support for successful vehicle development and launches. Maintain issue tracking systems. Manage, track, and deliver required test property updates and retrofits. Consistently take steps to meet project milestones.
