Implement individual speech therapy sessions targeting communication, language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing functions. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, nurses, and physicians, as well as engaging with families for effective care coordination. Educate patients and their families to enhance progress beyond sessions. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations to ensure continuity of care and effective recovery paths. Ensure precise documentation is maintained according to organizational, state, and federal requirements. Engage in professional development through continuing education opportunities and peer collaboration. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if currently unregistered with ASHA. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is desirable. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of starting your position.
