Client in Newark, DE seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Service and Warehouse Manager to join their team! Full-Time Temp-to-Hire Position Job Summary: The successful candidate will play a key role in rebuilding granulators, setting up WasteTech machines for delivery, managing the shipping of small items, and overseeing warehouse operations. This is a hands-on role that requires technical understanding, organizational skills, and a strong ability to ensure equipment is ready for shipment. The role also requires occasional travel (Continental U.S.) to support on-site activities and troubleshooting customer service issues remotely as needed. Key Responsibilities: Rebuild and maintain granulators to ensure they are in proper working condition. Set up and prepare WasteTech machines for delivery, ensuring all specifications are met and machines are fully operational. Oversee the inventory of small items, ensuring accurate packaging and timely shipment. Manage the warehouse by organizing materials and tools, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safety standards are followed. Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely deliveries and shipments. Conduct regular checks and maintenance of warehouse equipment to ensure proper functioning. Occasional travel (Continental U.S.) to assist with on-site machine setups, repairs, and other service-related tasks. Utilize general electrical knowledge to assist in machine setup and troubleshooting. Troubleshoot customer service issues remotely as needed, providing timely solutions and technical support. Requirements: Education and Experience: Previous experience in machine assembly, repair, or warehouse operations. Familiarity with mechanical systems and granulator equipment. Proven experience managing a warehouse or service department. General electrical knowledge, with the ability to assist in troubleshooting electrical issues on machinery. Skills and Competencies: Strong attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good organizational and time-management skills. Strong communication skills for troubleshooting customer service issues remotely. Willingness and ability to travel. Occasional travel (Continental U.S.) Able to lift up to 50lbs. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with machines or similar industrial machinery is a plus. Forklift certification or experience with warehouse machinery. Ability to read technical schematics or manuals. Working Conditions: Occasional travel (Continental U.S.) Physical demands may include lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in a warehouse environment. Flexible working hours depending on travel requirements and project deadlines.
