Turret Machine Operator

We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable Turret Operator to join our Press Shop team. Position Overview As a Turret Operator, you will operate an Amada turret punch press to produce high-quality sheet metal components. This role plays a critical part in ensuring parts are punched accurately, inspected carefully, and prepared for the next stage of production. Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality are key to success in this position. What You'll Do Read and interpret blueprints and work orders Install tooling and set up CNC turret punch equipment Operate the machine to punch sheet metal parts to specification Load and unload steel sheets safely and efficiently Separate scrap from finished parts and deburr as needed Inspect parts for quality and accuracy Perform basic preventative maintenance and lubrication Maintain accurate production records and documentation Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe Follow all company quality and safety policies What We're Looking For Minimum 10th grade education At least 6 months of machine operating experience Mechanical experience is a plus Ability to read drawings and perform basic math Strong attention to detail and safety awareness Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks Physical Requirements This is an active role that involves standing for extended periods, handling sheet metal, pushing and pulling materials, and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
