Job Title: Mainframe Technical Implementation Professional Location: Fully Onsite - Omaha, NE (Relocation Assistance Available) Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role As an Mainframe Technical Implementation Professional , you will collaborate directly with clients to de-convert or transfer their existing credit card portfolios. You'll work alongside project managers, data analysts, and conversion programmers to review client data files, develop technical specifications, and ensure seamless portfolio conversions. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage technical and analytical skills, gain expertise in the payment processing industry, and build strong client relationships. What You'll Do Conduct detailed technical data mapping analysis with precision and investigative focus. Collaborate with business analysts and technical teams to design tailored technical solutions. Develop and follow comprehensive data conversion mapping specifications. Ensure exceptional quality of conversion outputs through rigorous inspections. Participate in system and output testing to maintain data integrity and client alignment. Engage in client mock events and foster strong partnerships with stakeholders. Adhere to internal processes and best practices while proactively managing risks and reporting progress. What You'll Need to Have 3+ years of experience with COBOL, Mainframe applications, and IBM JCL/TSO/TPX. 3+ years in Information Technology or Business Analysis. 3+ years of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) and SQL. 1+ years in the credit card issuing industry. 1+ years of experience in testing, validation, and financial balancing of outputs/reports. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). What Would Be Great to Have Successful history of platform conversion projects. Ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments. Strong team-oriented mindset and collaborative approach. Proven risk management and data-driven decision-making skills.
