QA Engineer

We're hiring for an "QA Engineer" role in "Fremont, CA" with one of our industry-leading clients. Role: QA Engineer Location: Fremont, CA (Must be Onsite 5 days a week) Type: Contract Rate: $55-60/hour Top Requirements (Must haves) Technical Requirements Tech Stack • JavaScript • Python Testing Frameworks & Tools • Playwright • Selenium • PyTest Architecture • REST APIs Databases • MySQL Years of Experience: 5-9 years Core Responsibilities Test Design & Automation • Design and develop advanced automated test suites using object-oriented programming principles. • Build and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium and Python. • Execute functional and automation testing across supported platforms and languages. • Improve overall product quality and test coverage. API & Backend Testing • Write backend integration tests. • Test RESTful APIs and service integrations. Test Strategy & Execution • Design and implement integration, regression, and stress testing using industry-standard tools. • Develop and maintain test plans, test specifications, and test suites. Collaboration • Partner with Business Analysts and Developers to translate requirements into test cases. • Support cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle. Technical Leadership • Drive engineering best practices. • Lead or contribute to large-scale, cross-functional, and business-critical initiatives. Web / UI Testing • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Web and UI testing methodologies.
