Certified Surgical Technologist Job Responsibilities Prepare Surgical Equipment and Supplies: Ensure all necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies are organized and ready for use in surgical procedures. Collaborate with Surgical Teams: Partner with surgeons, nurses, and OR staff to deliver efficient, high-quality patient care during procedures. Handle High-Pressure Situations with Poise: Remain calm and professional in stressful moments, effectively managing challenges as they arise. Ensure Surgical Sterility: Maintain impeccable sterile techniques throughout surgeries to prioritize patient safety and prevent contamination. Adapt to Changing Duties: Demonstrate flexibility and take on additional responsibilities as required to support the surgical team's success. Job Requirements Licensure & Certifications: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program. AHA BLS certification required (within 30 days of hire). Current North Carolina state Surgical Technologist Registration.
