Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health field with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. Certification Essentials Acquire ASCP or AMT Board certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment. Maintain certification throughout your career with us.
