What You'll Do: As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for: Safely unloading log trucks and stacking logs in designated storage areas to optimize yard efficiency. Assisting in feeding logs into the chipper, supporting production workflows. Performing basic maintenance and routine care on heavy machinery, including wheel loaders, shovels, and cranes. Keeping the log yard organized and maintained to ensure safety and productivity. Supporting team efforts in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. What You'll Bring: The ideal candidate for this role will have: Experience operating heavy equipment such as wheel loaders, shovels, cranes, or similar machinery (experience is helpful but not mandatory). A mechanically inclined skill set with a willingness to learn and perform basic repairs and maintenance. Strong safety awareness and a commitment to operational safety standards.
