Job Description

The Account Executive, Season Membership Sales role is a full-time sales position focused on selling season memberships for the Tampa Bay Rays. This position will be responsible for selling traditional and flexible memberships, up-selling existing accounts, creating new ideas to increase sales, and performing basic office functions. JOB FUNCTIONS: Solicit new and existing business for traditional and flexible season memberships. Responsible for managing all clients' tickets and information through department ticketing system and database. ProVenue and Salesforce knowledge a plus. Complete sales calls, identifying customer needs and interests. Provide exceptional service for new season membership accounts and maintain a strong relationship with existing clients. Manage ticketing and customer service needs for assigned clientele, while actively seeking new ideas to generate revenue. Manage cross-selling of existing accounts including but not limited to spring training, group seating, party areas, and suites. Assist in promotion and sales strategies for business-to-business sales. Demonstrate ability to effectively manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Work and perform assigned event-day responsibilities, including weekends, nights, and holidays. Represent the Ticket Sales department at various promotional events as well as in-game sales tables. Compensation will be hourly plus eligibility for additional wages and benefits. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: 4-year degree required or comparable work experience Minimum 1-2 year ticket sales experience preferred Strong cold calling experience preferred Candidate must contain a strong work ethic and organizational skills as well as a desire to build a career in professional sports sales
