Senior Financial Analyst Our people are the heart of our business. Summary: This role reports directly to the Vice President of Finance for the Automotive and General Industrial Division and partners closely with operational and executive leadership to support informed decision-making and ensure strong financial performance and controls across the division. Responsibilities include leading forecasting and budgeting processes for central areas, reviewing monthly financial and operational performance, preparing capital project requests, driving process improvements, and delivering ad hoc financial analyses. Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities): The primary duties consist of, but are not limited to, the following. Lead the quarterly forecasting and annual operating plan processes for the Division, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with strategic objectives. Analyze and oversee divisional financial topics across all regions, including fixed assets, capital requests, accounts receivable, surcharges, and other centralized financial initiatives. Prepare, compile, and analyze KPIs, actual results, forecasts, and business plans, identifying risks, trends, and opportunities while recommending process and analytical improvements. Partner with Vice Presidents of Operations and General Managers to support strategic and tactical decision-making at the plant, regional, and divisional levels. Provide accounting and financial analysis support to Office Managers, General Managers, and Vice Presidents, ensuring consistent financial understanding and execution. Develop and maintain process maps, guidelines, and standard work for the Division, applying lean principles to improve speed, accuracy, and quality. Lead best practice sharing and collaboration across regional and local finance and accounting teams. Drive a process-driven and controls-focused culture, ensuring robust internal financial controls are established, monitored, and continuously improved. Lead, support, and participate in regional and divisional projects, including cross-functional initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. Drive, engage in, and support regional as well as divisional projects. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned, including additional tasks or scope adjustments required to support evolving business needs and organizational priorities. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements; therefore, candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holder. Strong personal initiative to seek out potential problems and creative solutions. Ability to translate financial results to operational performance, and vice versa. Hands-on approach, with an eagerness to learn, understand, and coach/mentor team members as needed to achieve performance metrics. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent. Minimum of 7 years' progressive experience in finance and accounting functions in a multi-national company, preferably with multi-site responsibility. Proficiency in Hyperion, AX, SAP, or other ERP software is a plus, but not required. Physical & Mental Demands: The following physical and mental demands consist of, but are not limited to, the following. Must be able to work in a sitting position for extended periods of time (at desk, while driving, and/or on airplane travel) in an office/industrial environment. Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions. Ability to bend, pull, stoop, and reach to perform functions. Ability to lift 35 lbs. May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc. Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions. Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc. Ability to hear in person and via phone.
