Job Description The Assistant Production Manager - Residential - NoVA will: Serve as the connector between Project Managers and Production Managers, supporting project flow across multiple job sites. Assist in both project management (client relations, budgets, contracts, risk review) and production management (scheduling, QC, subcontractor coordination). Support land development activities tied to grading, infrastructure, utilities, and other preconstruction needs. Conduct regular site visits to oversee daytoday field activity and ensure alignment with design, schedule, and quality expectations. Manage a variety of engineering, permitting, and survey coordination tasks across both townhouse and single-family projects. Review architectural and engineering plans including grading, landscape, windows, truss drawings, block plans, and strip elevations. Track and submit key documentation including building permits, septic permits, 3rdparty inspections, surveys, and fee payments. Coordinate utilities, inspections, and construction milestones to keep projects moving efficiently toward delivery. The Successful Applicant The Assistant Production Manager - Residential - NoVA will have: Experience in residential construction, production homebuilding, or project/production management. Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle responsibilities across multiple active communities. A sharp, motivated candidate eager to learn land development and grow longterm within the organization. Ability to read construction plans, manage documentation, and interface effectively with engineers, architects, and subcontractors. Excellent communication skills and comfort working across office and field environments.
